COVID-19 GOOD DEEDS! Tyler Perry Gives A $500 Tip To 42 Unemployed Servers in Atlanta

Knowing how it feels to struggle, actor and mogul, Tyler Perry continues to give back to the people by helping 42-unemployed servers with $500 each at a popular Atlanta restaurant.

If you can remember, the filmmaker recently launched the #HesGotTheWholeWorldInHisHands challenge on social media to spread positive vibes amid the coronavirus pandemic, rounded up some popular artists like Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Tamela Mann and more to post videos of themselves singing their rendition of the song, “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands.”

And to keep the trend going, Perry stopped at Houston’s Restaurant in Atlanta – a spot he often visits — to reportedly give $500 tips to 42 servers who are no longer working amid the crisis, totaling a whopping $21,000!

We’re not surprised by Tyler Perry’s gesture as he’s known for his philanthropic efforts throughout the years.
