Wendy Williams talks Flying Solo & Divorce Woes

Last week, we reported that Wendy Williams finally decided to serve her husband and TV show’s manager, Kevin Hunter with divorce papers after 22 years of marriage.

Yesterday, Williams subtly addressed the news, but also maintained that she will continue her sobriety journey for the sake of her son Kevin and for her happiness.

“It’s been the motto of the hot topic bureau since the show was invented during our six-week sneak peak 11 years ago and it’s so crazy because Now my business is your business,” Williams said at the top of her Hot Topics segment.

“Turnabout’s a fair game, I get it,” she continued.

“I’m moving out of sober house in just a few days you know, it will be Wendy on her own,” she said as the crowd applaused her bravery.

“I have to tell you, you know, I’ve been dealing with issues with addiction, alcoholism, and I have a whole new life that I planned for myself and my son,” she continued.

“Believe me you, when you lay in a room with no TV and four gray walls all day … this is my life in the sober house, it’s one of the best things, honestly, that could have ever happened to me.”

She made no mention of her estranged husband, which made it crystal clear that he was not part of her future plans.

Good for you Wendy, I am sure you are inspiring millions who’ve chosen to stay in a broken situation all in the name of marriage.
