Fresh off a good night at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, Cardi B‘s husband Offset is facing felony charges according to an warrant issued by Georgia PD.
This morning (May 2), TMZ reported that Offset, who is apart of the Atlatna group Migos, is currently a wanted man in the State of Georgia. The warrant reportedly stems from an altercation with a fan inside a Sandy Springs Target location, where he smashed a fan’s phone for attempting to record him.
The 18 year-old fan, Junior Gibbons, claimed he said “What up Offset?” to which Offset replied “Get the f**k out of my face” and smacked the phone out of Gibbons’ hand. It looks like Offset was having a pretty bad day because he reportedly showed no remorse for his actions and told the fan again to get the “f**k out of my face” and then walked out of the store.
In Junior’s filed police report on Friday (Apr. 26), he and his family are not looking to press any charges against Offset, but they just want the rapper to replace the broken phone.
But Offset has refused to pay the $800 in damages, so the felony arrest warrant was issued after a thorough police investigation.
There’s still no word on whether or not he’s on his way to Georgia to turn himself in.
