MILAN’S TASTY THURSDAY: Income Tax Cocktail …YUM!

Last month, you filed your tax returns, got it within a week, felt rich for 2.5 seconds, then believe it or not, you’re back to counting pennies and stressing over your 9-5.
But why not take some of the edge off with a glass of “Income Tax Cocktail?” Sounds good right?
Yes, there’s actually a drink called Income Tax Cocktail that dates all the way back to the late 1920s, and this gin-based classic is basically a Bronx cocktail.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 ouncesgin
- 1/4 ouncedry vermouth
- 1/4 ouncesweet vermouth
- 1 ounceorange juice
- 1 dashAngostura bitters
- Optional garnish: orange twist
- Just Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes. Shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a slice of orange twist.
- Makes 1 Drink
